Watch a 'flash recap' video of our workshop "AAC in Early Childhood Education – Supporting Children with little or no speech in Early Childhood Education K-2".
We successfully conducted two sessions of this highly sought-after workshop in May. There was overwhelming response from early childhood educators leading to sold-out sessions. At DDWA, we prioritise communication success for all children, including those with communication difficulties or complex communication needs (CCN).
These workshops provide early childhood educators with resources, confidence and knowledge so that schools are better able to include, support and educate young children with communication and language difficulties, in particular those who require support in learning to use their own AAC tools.
When we run events like this, we hope that you'll all share the invite with people you know will benefit so that this success continues to grow.
All growth in awareness and skills that help build an inclusive community will help support people with developmental disabilities.
We think this video captures the workshop's interactive nature and hands-on exploration, truly capturing its vibrant spirit.
